Education and Professional Experiences
B.S. in Economics from Florida Atlantic University.
MEd with a Special Education Endorsement from the University of Vermont.
I worked for over 15 years in the import business in Connecticut where I spent the majority of my career as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. I traveled to Europe and the Far East as well as throughout the United States. After deciding on a career change I moved to Burlington and received my Masters degree in Education from UVM. I worked in a variety of secondary settings including BFA in Fairfax and Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg. Prior to joining the team at Winooski I was the Educational Director at Mansfield Hall which is a college support program located in Burlington for students with a variety of learning differences.

What has been your greatest learning experience? (in or out of school)
My greatest learning experience came from my first few years working in sales in metro NYC. I had two great mentors who guided me and taught me many lessons.

Who do you admire and why?
All of the athletes at Special Olympics Vermont. They are a constant source of inspiration and I am grateful to be associated with such a wonderful program.

What do you love about your current WSD position and the WSD community?
I think Forrest Gump said it best, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you”re gonna get.”
