Dear Families,
Yesterday and today were our fall parent teacher conferences. It is always wonderful to welcome our families into the school and share their student’s success with them. If you were unable to make it to your student’s conference, please contact your student’s teacher ASAP to reschedule. An important part of student success is a strong family/school connection. We value these connections at JFK, and want to meet with every family so we can collaborate to ensure your students have a wonderful school year.
Attached here, Bike Bonanza sign up sheet_flyer, is information about this year’s Old Spokes Home Bike Bonanza. The Bonanza is an annual event where eligible students can receive a free bicycle. All JFK students are considered eligible. The age limit is 3-8 years old, although a small 9 year old will still be able to find a well fitting bike (age limit based on size). The Bike Bonanza takes place at the Sustainability Academy (123 North Street, Burlington) on Saturday, December 14th 10am – 12pm. Attached to this letter is the registration letter. You can fill that out and send it back to school, or go online to www.oldspokeshome.com to register your student(s). This is a fantastic community event that happens each year, and many of our students benefit from it! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
