Dear Families,
This past week was Staff Appreciation Week. I wanted to take a moment to publicly thank our amazing staff. I have been in education about 20 years, and I have never had the privilege of working with such a dedicated, compassionate, and professional staff. The care and commitment that that show each and every day to our students and community is commendable.
On May 22nd we will be having a family literacy night for students in grade K-3 and their families. The event is funded through our CLiF grant and should be a fantastic evening. If you have a student in grades K-3 you should have received an invitation during conferences. If you have already RSVP’d, you should have received a sheet to sign up for the nursery for children under the age of 5. School age children will be participating in the event. If you need nursery care for a child under 5, please return the sheet to your student’s teacher next week.
JFK Summer School will take place this year as follows:
- July 8th – 11th
- Monday – Thursday; 8:00 – 12:00
- For students in grades K-5 for the 2019-20 school year
- July 15th – 18th
- Monday – Thursday; 8:00 – 12:00
- For students in grades K-5 for the 2019-20 school year
- July 22nd – 25th
- Monday – Thursday; 8:00 – 12:00
- For students in grades 1st – 5th for the 2019-20 school year
- July 29th – August 2nd
- Monday – Thursday; 8:00 – 12:00
- For students in grades 1st – 5th for the 2019-20 school year
This year, our PTO will be hosting the first ever Community Yard Sale on May 18th 9:00am – 2:00pm. It is $20 for a 10×10 space or $25 for a 10×10 space and an 8ft table. Please contact Jessica Audette to book your space. ([email protected] or 802-373-1138)
