This Friday, May 28, middle school students are going to Camp Abnaki for an end-of-year celebration. Students have received detailed information in advisory about camp activities, and what to bring to enjoy camp.
All students should bring:
- swimsuit and towel
- change of clothes
- sturdy shoes (sneakers and/or sandals)
- sweatshirt/jacket/rain gear
- small plastic bag to put wet clothes after camp
- backpack or bag (for gear)
- (strongly encouraged): water bottle, bug spray/sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, extra blanket/towel to sit on during lunch
Note: ABSOLUTELY NO electronics (ie. phones, ipads, etc.) at Camp Abnaki (This is a Camp Abnaki policy.). Please remind students that they are bringing electronics at their own risk. Also, NO personal sports equipment (ie. skateboards, basketballs, scooters, etc.). The only exception is fishing poles – students should let teachers know if they plan to bring fishing poles.
A BBQ lunch will be provided by the Abbey Group. Students will be transported by bus and will return to school around 2.30pm.
If you have any questions contact your student’s advisor or Amanda Spencer at Aspencer@wsdvt.org.
