The Winooski Schools’ Promise to our Community

All students will graduate from the Winooski School District (WSD) college and career ready at a cost supported by a majority of the Winooski community. WSD students will lead healthy, productive and successful lives and engage with their local and global community. Our students are the future.

Important Message from Superintendent Chavarria

We have received many questions from students, families, and staff about several of the Executive Orders issued almost daily so far. The Winooski School District will continue to abide by its existing policies designed to protect, respect, and value the dignity of each and every single one of our students. These policies are publicly available on our website and are to be strictly followed by the Winooski Educational Community. Regardless of what the news says, we retain our local power to come together and ensure the safety and sense of belonging of those most vulnerable, and we will not reverse all the progress we have made. I invite all families and Winooski community members to join me in that endeavor.
